Where the Gewürztraminer ripens

In Tramin, it's not only the Gewürztraminer that finds ideal conditions. We humans also feel at home here on the South Tyrolean Wine Road. The mild climate, diverse natural landscape, nearby Lake Caldaro and rich cultural programme ensure this. From early spring onwards, there are a large number of hiking and biking trails available, and the Tramin sports and adventure pool is the perfect place for water adventures. In the Trudner Horn Nature Park and the Bletterbach Gorge, you can experience unspoilt nature. In the winter months, some of South Tyrol's most beautiful ski resorts can be reached in 30–45 minutes by car.

Culture and traditions are highly valued in the town. The frescoes and wrought ironwork adorning many of the town centre's facades demonstrate the craftsmanship of local artisans. When the Egetmann parade passes through Tramin's streets in February, the town reveals its colourful, traditional and creative side.
